Many of Mr. Baker’s signature houses were new construction in a variety of settings.
“There should always be a place in our community for comfortable, livable houses that express the character of the region, the site, and the people who live in them. Above all..
Let’s build houses that live comfortably with their surroundings, are courteous to their neighbors and deferential to the environment.”
Mr. Baker has had particular success solving clients design challenges when remodeling existing houses, often finding creative uses of space that find ways to either fit into existing character or reimagine a structure to a better version of itself.
